Drawing on its cooperative shareholding status, each year Producta Vignobles organises a harvest in one of its vineyards. Marketing of its new range of crémant de Bordeaux started in 2016, and so it was that the team went to the vineyard of the cave de St Pey Génissac to harvest part of the parcel of Cabernet belonging to Mr Burnereau, a director and former president of the cave. For many years, this committed winegrower has worked in partnership with a distillery, to recycle waste from winemaking and viticulture. The cave de St Pey Génissac is one of the largest and best producers of crémant in the region.
