Who is Sarah ?

Sarah is an energetic, demanding and direct professional (and certainly a little bit Belgian : especially when it comes to fries !). What drives her in her job is to be able to highlight the work of our cooperative winegrowers and to have their exceptional products tasted throughout the world while finding that magical balance between supply and demand.

Wine has always been present during her professional career. After a period in Champagne and Liquors, she worked for a few years in the insurance industry in Asia, before joining the Jean d’Alibert cooperative group (Languedoc-Roussillon) and their commercial entity in Shanghai where she was in charge of North China, South Korea and Japan areas. Her experiences allowed her to meet many people who inspired her.

What is her background at Producta Vignobles?

She took over the reins of the Western European markets (BeNeLux, Switzerland and Denmark) as well as Japan and South Korea in January 2021, while overseeing the Asia-Pacific business. Her intention is to perpetuate the activity of Producta Vignobles with our long-term partners, by taking up with them the challenges of the wine industry in perpetual evolution, and to make the cooperative model shine through our brands and châteaux, in order to invite more and more players to join the Producta adventure.

Why did she choose the wine industry and the cooperative system?

For her, wine is the universal bond that transcends languages, cultures and continents. It is both a historical drink, which links us to past generations, and at the same time it is constantly reinventing itself to adapt to future generations, while being synonymous with conviviality and sharing. Moreover, she has always worked in the cooperative world : in her opinion, this is a model for the future which, thanks to the pooling of people, ideas and a common desire to go further together.

What is her best memory at Producta Vignobles?

Thanks to the health context and travel restrictions, she was able to enjoy many moments of exchange with her colleagues and to soak up the spirit and expertise of Producta. She was also delighted to get back in the game as soon as travel was possible again, and to see familiar faces with pleasure.
