The Parlementaires played a strategic role in developing the fame of the wines of Bordeaux. It was Jean de Pontac, member of a rich family of Bordeaux parliamentarians, who had the idea of building proper viticultural systems to improve the quality of wines destined for the English market. As a result, vineyards began to be organised around châteaux, cellars, mansions and wineries, to confirm and make durable the region’s winemaking expertise. A modern range, emblematic of the finest Bordeaux tradition. Available in Bordeaux red, white and rosé, Bordeaux Supérieur, Lussac St Emilion, Côtes de Bordeaux, Médoc and Monbazillac.
